Here is a guide to maintaining a robot vacuum:
Regular cleaning of the brushes and rollers:
- Switch off the Robot Vacuum Cleaner and remove it from the charging station.
- Remove hair, fibers and dust from main and side brushes.
- Check the rollers for wear and clean them if necessary.
- Remove the dust container according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Empty the contents into a waste garbage can.
- Clean the container with a damp cloth.
- Allow it to dry completely before replacing it.
- Check the sensors for dirt or dust.
- Clean them carefully with a soft, dry cloth.
- Check the wheels for dirt, hair and dust.
- Make sure that the wheels can turn freely.
- Remove the filter according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Tap or brush it out carefully.
- If washable: rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
- Check regularly for software updates.
- Carry this out according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Check wheels, brushes and flaps for wear or blockages.
- Contact the manufacturer or service partner in the event of defects.
- Keep the station free of dirt and dust.
- Wipe occasionally with a damp cloth.
- Switch off the Robot Vacuum Cleaner before maintenance and disconnect from the power supply if necessary.
- Observe the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
- Carry out maintenance regularly after use.
- This keeps the cleaning performance optimal in the long term.
